Strawberry Tea afternoon.

What a wonderful afternoon we had at our strawberry tea. It was very well attended. We had a few quiz papers arranged by Jenn, they were very light-hearted and a lot of fun . Thanks to all who helped in getting everything ready and to those that helped clear up afterwards. We raised £218.00.

Our next social event is in September and it’s a MURDER MYSTERY, we need people to partake in this. If you would like participate please let me know .

Once again thank you all and love as always, have a wonderful summer.

We had a wonderful year last year, not just in raising funds but for the friendship and love shown to each other. It was also amazing to celebrate together the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla. We pray for King Charles as he undergoes treatment, and for a complete recovery from his cancer and for all those we know who are being treated at this time.

Thank you all, for supporting us in our events and for all those who work behind the scenes to help make it a success. You are all amazing.
If there are any budding actors and actresses out there who would like to join in our “Murder Mystery” event please give your names to:
Linda Bartlett  St. Margaret’s
Cheryl Pugh. St. Catwgs.

Once again thank you all so very much and hope you will continue to support us in friendship,
Love as always, June x

Cawl Evening 2024

This year, we celebrated St David’s Day, a little late, on Wednesday 6th March, , more than fifty people attended our Cawl evening and everyone enjoyed the event very much.  The Cawl was delicious and very healthy as we had over our five a day requirement in one sitting.  Afterwards there were Welsh cakes and slices of Bara Brith which had been made by members of the social committee. Father Gary had compiled a quiz based on Wales and the winning table were the Super Six, the One Outers came second (named as we were one year out in quite a few answers) and third were the Famous Five. The evening ended with a raffle Draw.

Many thanks to all who helped to prepare the food and to organise the evening, but a special thanks to June and Pete who once again did all the shopping etc,.  Thanks to Father Gary for compiling the quiz, and to Audrey, Jeanette and Aiden for helping with the raffle.    Finally thanks to everyone who attended the cawl evening thus making it another successful event.

The next important date for your diary is Wednesday 15th May, our annual quiz evening.

Cawl evening, our first event of this year 2023.

It was amazing to see so many supporting us on our Cawl evening , where we had wonderful food and good company. Diolch Fr Gary for once again doing one of your easy quizzes. Diolch yn fawr iawn, to all who helped with the prepping and clearing up afterwards, greatly appreciated. Looking forward to future events with you all.

June.  X
